Docent-Led Walking Tour
Stroll through La Jolla’s Past with a knowledgeable La Jolla Historical Society volunteer! During this 90-minute 1.5-mile tour, guests begin their tour at the La Jolla Historical Society’s Wisteria Cottage and then proceed to 15 additional stops in La Jolla’s beautiful, historic downtown village.
Second and fourth Saturdays of every month at 10:00 am
$10 for adults / children 12 and under free (if accompanied by adult)

Self-Guided Walking Tour
This popular walking tour allows visitors and residents alike to explore a number of unique treasures in La Jolla’s historic central village. Approximately twenty blocks in length with an estimated walking time of an hour and thirty minutes, this self-guided tour with fifteen stops offers insight into the rich history, architecture and culture of La Jolla's village, including walk-bys of some of structures dating to the 1890s and natural attractions for which this scenic seaside community has been long known. This detailed guide and map features directions to each stop, with archival images and extensive histories of the buildings and attractions featured.
The twenty-page booklet is available at the Society's offices for $5.99 (discounted for members). Now also available at Warwick's book store in La Jolla and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla.
