Landmark Week & 2023 Jewel Award

La Jolla Landmark Week will kick off with the La Jolla Modernism Tour on Saturday October 14 and a celebration of the Centennial of R.M. Schindler’s Pueblo Ribera on Sunday October 15.

On Sunday, October 15, attention shifts to Rudolph Schindler’s revolutionary, 1923 multi- unit design located in Windansea. We are immensely grateful to event sponsors Island Architects, Art Reynolds, and the members of the Landmark Steering Committee.

Thursday October 19, 6:00pm: La Jolla’s Redeveloping Neighborhoods: Reflections on Design

Four architects who have worked in La Jolla for decades, will explore influences of site, culture, materials, and values upon their practice describing their role in the transformation of La Jolla neighborhoods.
